October 8, 2020 – For the second consecutive year, Broward Health (Fort Lauderdale, FL) was been recognized for its achievements in Supply Chain Savings by Vizient Inc. (Irving, TX).
The healthcare system received the Participation Leadership and the Executive Savings awards, which recognize healthcare organizations for demonstrating excellence in lowering costs in the supply chain, streamlining purchasing practices, earning additional rebates and overall lowering pricing from manufacturers.
These achievements were attained through Vizient’s Impact Standardization Program.
Additionally, Broward Health received the Participation Award for its involvement in 12 non-food Impact programs and for using a Vizient food and nutrition services agreement.
