August 12, 2022 – Dave Edwards rejoined Premier Inc. in July as national vice president of business development. Edwards was with Premier from 1999 to 2016 as vice president of supplier relations and business development.
Most recently, he served as vice president of account management for Omnicell and senior vice president and general manager of strategic corporate accounts for Siemens Healthcare Solutions, where he managed strategic channels including GPOs, IDNs, the Department of Defense and the Veterans Affairs Administration.
Edwards was one of the principal architects of the Premier Field-Force strategy and then transitioned to Supplier partnerships during his original stint with Premier. His philosophical approach has always been to drive the “triple win” through an integrated supplier engagement strategy at Premier, focusing first on member value and then on supplier partner growth.
Edwards was a regional manager for Baxter prior to joining Premier in 1999 and began his career with American Hospital Supply in Los Angeles. He has a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University.
