In this new mobile device-ready game, you will:
- Review the recommended practices for the transport of clean, high-level disinfected, and sterilized items.
- Review the recommended practices for the containment and transportation of soiled medical devices.
- Explore action steps on how to improve and maintain quality and compliance with soiled medical device transportation.
When it comes to safe surgery and safety for professionals that work with reusable medical devices, it is critical that both clean and/or sterile items as well as soiled items be transported correctly in accordance with current recommendations and industry guidelines.
Users will learn about proper practices when transporting clean, high-level disinfected, and/or sterile items that maintain integrity of the processed item. Participants will also review the requirements associated with transporting biohazardous reusable devices.
