August 17, 2022 – A new online jobs board – Jobs.HIDA.org – launched recently to highlight employment opportunities in the healthcare distribution industry. The online jobs board is a project of the Health Industry Distributors Association and is open to all HIDA members.
“HIDA wants to encourage students and recent graduates to pursue careers in the healthcare distribution industry,” said HIDA President and CEO Matthew J. Rowan. “This jobs board will make available an industry-wide array of entry-level jobs from our membership.”
Jobs.HIDA.org features:
- More than 14,000 jobs from 28 employers in all 50 states
- Search functions to find opportunities based on location, job description keyword, and employer
- Career resources for entry-level job seekers on how to search, apply, and land their first job
Jobs.HIDA.org is the product of HIDA’s Workforce Development Advisory Council, which launched in February 2022 and is composed of leaders in the healthcare distribution industry with wide experience in talent acquisition and human resources. HIDA’s Council is focused on identifying career paths in the healthcare distribution industry, developing a diverse pipeline of applicants for internships and entry-level positions, and building online resources where prospective applicants can browse listings and apply for jobs.
HIDA will market Jobs.HIDA.org with a digital marketing campaign to high school and college students seeking entry-level employment in the healthcare distribution industry. In an effort to reach candidates of diverse backgrounds, HIDA will focus its outreach on Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic-Serving Institutions, and schools that offer degrees in supply chain management and logistics.
