May 19, 2021 – Karim Kaissi has joined Intermountain Healthcare in Nevada, filling the role of Nevada Medical Group President.
Kaissi comes to Intermountain after serving as president of the eastern U.S. region for CareMore and Aspire Health, an Anthem Inc. subsidiary.
In his prior role, Kaissi led a region of 30 states serving Medicare, Medicaid and commercial patients in value-based arrangements. He is an active Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
The announcement comes as Intermountain nears its two-year anniversary of its acquisition of HealthCare Partners Nevada. Since that time, Intermountain has brought in a range of specialty healthcare services highly needed in southern Nevada, including pediatric neurosurgery, and liver transplant and advanced disease clinic, a bone marrow transplant clinic.
