January 15, 2021 – MercyOne (Des Moines, IA), the largest healthcare system in Iowa, broke ground this week on its first clinic in Minnesota. The clinic will serve the residents of Freeborn County and the surrounding service area.
Phase one construction is focused on 14,000 square feet and will house primary care and some specialty services.
In total, there are five phases planned for the 64,000 square foot space. The first phase is expected to be completed by July 1, 2021. Later phases will include services for outpatient surgery and retail.
Officials hope to have everything complete within five years.
