Premier Breakthroughs

JHC-Aug16-4Premier Inc. awarded approximately 150 health systems and suppliers with 2016 Breakthroughs Awards for transforming healthcare, at this summer’s 2016 Breakthroughs Conference and Exhibition in National Harbor, Md.

“We congratulate and thank them for their tireless efforts to improve care delivery operations, outcomes, costs and the health of communities across the nation,” said Susan DeVore, president and CEO, Premier.

More than 4,000 attendees from health systems, academic institutions, non-acute care providers and supplier organizations attended the conference, which featured more than 150 best-practices and knowledge-sharing sessions by peers and experts.

A key element of the Conference was the Innovation Celebration, an annual event since 2009, which featured a number of device, equipment and service suppliers selected for their uniqueness, ability to have an impact on unmet medical needs and potential to improve patient care.
