January 11, 2023 – The inaugural Women as One RISE Conference will convene in New York City on February 18, 2023, to provide women physicians with insights into best practices for equal opportunity, skills development, and access to leading experts.
RISE was developed to provide women across medical specialties a forum in which to grow professionally: gaining access to trainings, insights, and opportunities for their future success. Program Directors Roxana Mehran, MD and Azin Parhizgar, PhD will host the event, bringing together physicians and leadership across industries to create positive change for women in medicine.

RISE will feature over a dozen experts across high powered panels, workshops, and keynote sessions. Workshops will cover pressing topics for physician career growth, including keys to effective leadership, business acumen for physicians, clinical trial leadership insights, and insider tips from top journal editors. Faculty include a wide range of CEOs, department chairs, and a variety of important decision makers to support both learning and contact development for participants.
