CME awarded renewable $5M contract for state organizations, veteran facilities throughout Michigan

November 13, 2020  –  CME Corp. announced it signed a contract with the state of Michigan to provide medical products and services for its state-run veterans’ facilities and other State organizations.

The contract is potentially worth up to $5 million.

Contract items available include the purchase and delivery of products from CME’s array of over 2 million items from more than 2,000 manufacturers. CME also provides special “white glove services,” including receiving, inspecting, warehousing, assembling, and installing the equipment. Additionally, CME will provide biomedical services, asset tagging, and repairs.

The contract was developed through a cooperative effort among CME, Michigan officials, and HPS, a GPO. The contract will run through January 31, 2022, with an option to renew at the end of the first year.

HPS is a group purchasing organization that serves the needs of more than 4,100 members in 30 states. HPS and CME have been operating together under a contract for equipment and services since February 1.
