August 23, 2021 – Health Connect Partners (HCP) announced that it will not hold an in-person conference this fall in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Instead of gathering in Pittsburgh, HCP will facilitate those connections between providers and suppliers in its online platform.
Instead, the 2021 Fall Hospital Pharmacy Conference will be held live online. The Education & Supplier Showcase will open October 25 and close December 3. Live Online Reverse Expo sessions will be held November 8–12.
Those already registered for the October conference will be contacted soon by HCP to discuss the transition to an online event. Any hotel reservations booked in Pittsburgh will be cancelled with no penalty and no deposits will be charged.
HCP cited the strain on hospitals from the current surge of COVID as making it no longer feasible for attendees to travel.
