December 14, 2023- Humana, Inc. has earned a score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation Corporate Equality Index and the designation as one of the Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality for the tenth year in a row. The recognition reflects Humana’s deep commitment to creating a culture of belonging where each employee feels valued and has both opportunity and support to reach their full potential.
The Corporate Equality Index (CEI) is the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. The CEI rates companies on detailed criteria falling under four central pillars:
- Non-discrimination policies across business entities
- Equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families
- Supporting an inclusive culture
- Corporate social responsibility
