January 30, 2024- Ardent Health Services recently reported that certain individuals whose personal information was involved in the November 2023 “cybersecurity incident” are now being notified. On Nov. 23, 2023, Ardent discovered a “ransomware incident” that impacted its network and they immediately notified law enforcement. Ardent Health notified officials and successfully ended unauthorized access. According to Ardent Health, some of the breach contained documents with personal patient information. Patients are now being notified through letters in the mail regarding the November data incident.
