May 19, 2023 – Cleveland Clinic Akron General has named Kelli Saucerman-Howard, DNP, RN, as its new Chief Nursing Officer, effective June 19.
Saucerman-Howard brings 34 years of experience in nursing, quality, infection prevention, regulatory compliance and patient safety, and she has served at large academic health systems for over a decade.
Saucerman-Howard is coming from Creighton University Medical Center-Bergan Mercy in Omaha, Neb., where she served as chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services. Previously, she was the associate chief nursing officer and vice president of quality at Regional One Health in Memphis, Tenn.
She replaces Sheila Miller, DNP, RN, who is now Chief Nursing Officer at Cleveland Clinic London.
