April 30, 2024- To recognize employers that have continued to prioritize DEI this past year, Forbes has ranked America’s Best Employers For Diversity 2024. Numerous renowned companies in the healthcare industry have made the list including Pfizer, Cook Children’s Healthcare System, Humana, Vizient, Thermo Fisher, Children’s Hospital of Colorado, and many more.
This seventh annual list— created in partnership with market research firm Statista—is based in part on survey results from 170,000 people working for organizations with at least 1,000 employees within the United States. The participants were asked to anonymously rate their own employers, in addition to companies they knew well either through their industry or through friends and family members employed there. Respondents evaluated the organization’s approach to DEI as it pertains to such criteria as age, gender, ethnicity, disability and sexual orientation.
